9 years ago in September 2017, the first Brad Wait Memorial Golf Tournament was held at Seymour G&CC, 10 weeks after Brad's death.  100 golfers participated along with 30 volunteers.  $100,000.00 was raised and donated to NS Hospice, where Brad died.

The Brad Wait Foundation

The Brad Wait Foundation is a non-profit society that was founded in August 2017 in memory Bradley Bryan Wait.  Brad lost his 31 month battle with brain cancer on 15 July 2017 at the age of 42. Brad was an avid and passionate golfer who was actively involved in a number of golfing initiatives in BC, including the Canaccord' s Big Brothers Annual Charity Golf Tournament held in Whistler.
